You are invited to attend an online peer-review CPD session on Monday 20th April 2026 at 19:00. It will run for ~1.5-2 hours.

This session will focus on clinical decision making – involving diagnosis, investigative techniques, and management plans.  Utilising the Vevox online software, the session will provide you an opportunity to reflect on your own clinical decision making and see how this aligns with your peers in an informal and supportive setting.

Ideally, you will need to join the Microsoft Teams call on one device (e.g. laptop/tablet) and have a separate device (e.g. smart phone/tablet) for answering the Vevox questions.

We wish to evaluate the effectiveness of this session and use your responses to help shape, and monitor changes, to the undergraduate optometry curriculum at Ulster University. Attendance at this session is voluntary. If you choose to attend, you will be asked to log in and answer questions on Vevox anonymously. These anonymous responses will then be used for teaching evaluation and research purposes. By attending and participating in this teaching session, we will assume that you are giving consent for your anonymised Vevox responses to be used for these purposes.

There will be 3 interactive/peer-review CPD points available to Optometrists for this session. Please note these are not speciality/IP points.

If you have any questions, or would like to sign up, please email Victoria Stapley at v.stapley@ulster.ac.uk

There is space for a maximum of 24 people at this event which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
