Dear NIOS members,
As part of a study investigating how optometrists working within primary care optometry examine and manage patients presenting with suspect vitreoretinal disorders, we would like to invite NIOS members to complete a short survey. This survey examines practice patterns within the area of vitreoretinal assessment by Optometrists within Northern Ireland and specifically seeks to identify if enhanced service schemes (e.g., MECS and associated qualifications) influence clinical practice/decision making. The results of this work will form part of an undergraduate research project and it is anticipated a peer-reviewed research publication.
