Message from SeeBelfast:
“It is with sadness that we announce the closure of SeeBelfast this week. We are so grateful to our loyal supporters who have encouraged us along the way for the past 2 years of operations. Unfortunately due to a variety of factors the charity became unsustainable. We have loved serving our patients, and we are sorry to have to close the doors.
In particular we’d like to thank Homeplus NI for their unending help, support and inspiration, the BSO for their guidance, CHNI, the NIOS, Optometry NI, picture and all those who donated time, money or equipment.
The silver lining is that we are handing the baton on to SeeBallymena, who plan to run a clinic at the Lighthouse Hostel in Ballymena. We fully support this venture and are sure this will be a welcome and much needed service in the area.
It will take some weeks to wind our accounts up but we plan to donate all funds to homeless services.”
