We are delighted to celebrate with Francis John Petticrew (better known to us as ‘Frank’) as he accepted his Life Fellowship from the College of Optometrists at the Diploma Presentation Ceremony held on Tuesday, 4 November 2014 in Central Hall, Westminster, London. It was a very special and memorable event, and recognised Frank’s pioneering contribution to complex lens fitting and to continuing education, long before this was a requirement. In response Frank, as always, took the opportunity to challenge and encourage younger members within the profession.
